my stupid dehumidifer can't even connect to wifi. it just reads the humidity of the room and decides if it should start running or not. stupid ass, how am i supposed to play skyrim on it it doesn't even have a screen
90% of the benefit of IoT is turning things on and off automatically or with notifications (may be ADHD talking). Most of this is done fine via smart plugs alone.
