And to much of the US

[–] hperrin@lemmy.ca 33 points 1 month ago

That’s also what the US looks like to a lot of us here in it.

Plump him up, give him a bigger gun, and put him in blackface. That should be an accurate representation.

How about a swastica?

[–] NotASharkInAManSuit@lemmy.world 19 points 1 month ago

I dunno, that guy immediately presents as considerably more sane and intelligent, and certainly far less bigoted (he’s not outwardly or openly hating anything with how he’s dressed, very unamerican), than the U.S. currently does.

This is how red states look to blue states within the US, as well.

No swastika?

Just one small gun?

A less competent, but also much better-equipped Joker

Think of it this way: One simple web search takes one unit of energy. Doing that same search, but using an AI model instead, takes 10 units of energy. And finally, using AI to generate an image? That will take you up to 1,000 units. Which leads us to the extra environmental tax.

"There are also impacts of water usage, because these chips that run these models get very hot. And you need water to cool them down," said Bashir.

Please stop killing the planet so a computer can make shitty pictures for you.

Not just because it's shitty content, but because it's killing the fucking planet. And thousand of idiots doing it over and over individually and "promoting" it like it's some fucking skill is making it exponentially worse.

Optimistic understatement, mostly.

[–] lime@feddit.nu 1 points 1 month ago

Units of units

Sure. But he might have created the image in his own computer. If it's a video it's more likely he used a service.

Edit: nvm, the pic came with the footprint from stablediffussion.
