His term ends when it ends whether there is an election or not. If he does somehow manage to cancel the popular election then the states will elect the next president through the electoral college and they can't elect Trump because he will no longer be eligible to be elected as president after serving two full terms. If he somehow manages to cancel both the popular election and the congressional vote, his term still ends when it ends. The presidential succession act will determine who is president after his term ends if no successor has been selected. Since Vance's term ends at the same time, there will be no president or vice president so whoever is speaker of the house at the end of Trump's term will become the president.
