the video of this is even better. the cop gets back up and proceeds to be thrown to the ground again before the protestor runs off.

the only other links I found were reddit, and they had all been deleted for violating reddit rules. can't have people celebrating cops getting their asses kicked. I imagine it's somewhere on youtube, but there was weeks of protests so there's many hours of video from them.
honestly I'm shocked the facebook one stayed up, they're not any better than reddit for censoring protests. especially since this was filmed several years ago, it's a wonder the video didn't get zucked.
this just works if the guy with the stick doesn't hit the other guy on the head with it, which the stick guys will learn to do next time from this
sadly I'm guessing after this there were many other stick guys and while he managed to tank the first guy his stats / armor weren't high enough to fight off the horde
he managed to fight this cop and one more, and throw this cop to the ground again before running off.

Cause he's charging in with his shield up he's basically given the defendant a shield too, you can even see he ducks down shield side.
The baton can only really hit his left side, but he's probably in panic mode and not able to swing as he goes airborne.
That said, there's probably more shieldly stick boi ready to be cunts and mess this hero up.

Yeah it's kind of nonsense that we spend most of every municipal budget on such shitty tools.
Also, gentle corrections to non-native speakers are cool; i always appreciate them in languages I'm tryinh to pick up; i expect that will continue even when im to the point you're at where you only fuck up on the occasional weird rule or idiom.

If a bat is coming towards you, ducking might not be the best approach...
moving away is exactly the best approach, as it lessens the force of the impact. not to mention they are wearing a backpack, which might be able to fully absorb the impact of a baton depending on the contents.
