Nanaimo Bars for sure
My bet is on fruitcake.
J/k lemon meringue pie.
Incorrect, banana cream pie is the superior pie. I'll accept lemon meringue as a close 2nd though.
Bananas belong in banana bread and almost nowhere else.
Bananas are sweet but bland, lemon has tart, sweet, sour all in one.
Anything with chocolate and peanut butter together. Make of that what you will.

Pudim de leite condensado (Translation: condensed milk pudding. Looks like creme caramel, but tastes differently)
Pudding chomeur will reign supreme!
Done! This was much easier than the obnoxiously long StatsCan survey I keep putting off.
Ever had to do one for a business? Omfuckinggod, like nightmare fuel bad.
Good to hear, I was worried this one was getting too long
Census complete. I ain't going to Lemmy Jail. Not again.
Filled the census? Believe it or not, straight to jail.
Haha you're safe until next year!
Are we getting a favourite dessert word cloud?
Yes we can do that :))
It'll be interesting to see how many people fill it in, and how many are from another instance. It's a good federation sampling project haha. Look forward to the results.
This is mandatory as well :P
I've got a guess for your favorite dessert
Just a feeling
Almost I put jello instead haha <3
I see census, I fill in.
I love this! I can’t wait to see the results!
Can't seem to get this link to load, unknown url scheme
Done! It'll be cool to see the results
Done, and I promise I did not mention birds once.
Good initiative! Done
Done, that wasn't too bad :)
When will the results be posted? I want to see the desserts :)
I should hopefully have something out by next week!
Why is it on Google Forms? There are many self-hosted form-building services. Isn't this the whole point of Lemmy? To avoid centralized services like Google Forms?
We discussed it briefly (some of which should be in the linked post). This seemed like the simple and familiar solution for our first run, where we had an option for people to reach out and submit manually if they didn't feel good about using the form. Once we have a chance to compare and vet the options, we can move to something better for next time.
On that note, would you have a recommendation?
We can drop off the surveys at Bob's house, you know the one who lives just off of Main?
Fuck dessert.
