What is the "Bi-Cycle"? (beehaw.org)

Ive seen this term a few times, but never an explanation. As a person that (mostly) associates themselves with being Bi, ive never experienced any sort of "cycle". Its it just an internet injoke (cause it sounds like bicycle).

The bi-cycle is the (involuntary) switch between being attracted to fem people and masc people. Not all bi folks experience it, but it's fairly common. It's called the bi-cycle because it tends to be cyclical.
