and that money is pumped directly back into the local economy. this is the investment in humans we need.

People often complain about Oregon's high state tax but if my taxes are funding programs like these, I'm not complaining at all.

Anjala Huff, a senior director at PSY, said many of the government funding streams that go towards ending youth homelessness have tight rules regarding how the money can be spent. The process can be further complicated by sending money through community based organizations. That’s not so with direct cash transfers.

So a UBI would also streamline a TON of government programs like disability, worker’s comp, welfare, etc
