Rules:

-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --

-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --

-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --

-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today/ . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --

-- Repeated consecutive posting of reactionary sources, fake news, misleading / outdated news, false alarms over ghoul deaths, and/or shitposts will result in a comm ban.--

-- Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned. --

-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --

Boeing discovered another problem in some of its 737 fuselages that may delay deliveries of about 50 aircraft in the latest quality gaffe to plague the manufacturer.

Improperly drilled holes were discovered by Spirit AeroSystems, a major supplier that provides Boeing with fuselages, according to a letter from Stan Deal, CEO of Boeing's commercial airplanes division.

Emirates, with $52b~ in jet orders pending, is sending engineers to monitor Boeing's production lines like they're toddlers. It's openly stated as the last chance Boeing gets. Hopefully Boeing imploding lowers property values in Washington. Seattle is such a pretty area and I'd love to live there.

The tech companies seem to have a lot more to do with the high price.

Maybe multiple 737s will crash into the HQs of Amazon and Microsoft, instantly slicing a trillion of market cap between the 3 companies

Modern business practices destroyed what used to be an American prestige company.

And all the decision makers are still making bank and will never see any consequences for their actions. The US in the future will just be 10,000 billionaires moving peasants around like units in an RTS and when thousands get slaughtered by unsafe machines in factories or an ammonium storage building just explodes, that's life.

man I dont think we're ever gonna stop hearing about the 737, might as well just nationalize boeing at this point so that maybe the next plane doesn't spontaneously combust because they decided it would save 20$ per fuselage to use self-igniting sealant around the door frames or some shit like that.

I saw a website for booking flights the other day whose whole thing was being able to filter out flights on 737s lol

Un-fun fact: Boeing is primarily a military materials company.

Boeing is more likely to get bailed out and have money thrown at them than nationalized. That's how we do business in the US of A.

Boeing sold Spirit AeroSystems to an investment firm 8 years after the merger, now the repercussions hit.
