Part of the reason why I think Trump is gonna destroy Biden is that the anti-Trumper losers have Streisand'd him to popularity levels which would have otherwise been unachievable for him. He presents himself as swamp draining outsider to his idiot worshippers and these clowns make this illusion believable by letting him live in their head rent free.

It's funny until you notice the name that's not on the list. These are people who refuse to vote for anyone but trump.

Most accurate comment that's gone through probably everyone's head after seeing this post.

That's not a stupid decision, that's a calculated decision... as the others said, they wanted Trump...

There's no way pence gets VP again right? Who do you think Trump will take this time?

[–] alcoholicorn@hexbear.net 14 points 2 years ago

Nikki Haley. You seen the way CNN/MSNBC has been glazing her? 8+ years of MSM calling Trump an aberration from the normal respectable republicans only served to carve out a constituency for a non-trump republican among suberban dem voters.

Please explain for non-burgers

[–] AOCapitulator@hexbear.net 19 points 2 years ago

trump wasn't on the ballot, so they all voted for "none of the people on the ballot" because they want Trump, I guess

an anti-write in campaign

In addition to the other reply you got, this one made by Nocturne Dragonite also sums it up pretty well.

Context:

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/trumps-nevada-primary-ballot-caucus-nikki-haley-calamity-confusion-rcna136272

Trump refused to participate in the primary, encouraging his voters to participate in the caucus today with only him and an unknown Ryan Binkley in it

[–] AOCapitulator@hexbear.net 5 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Im kind of shocked, they took Trump off the NEVADA Ballot?

[–] axont@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) (1 children)

No, this year Nevada had a state run primary and a party run caucus. Trump and most of the Republicans aren't involving themselves in the primary and the results aren't binding. The caucus is tomorrow where Trump's on the ballot. "none of these candidates" is always an option in Nevada apparently on every ballot

[–] AOCapitulator@hexbear.net 9 points 2 years ago (1 children)

so this is a complete waste of time? Like, more than usual United States State Primary Elections?

[–] axont@hexbear.net 7 points 2 years ago

Yes, this is pure American civil religion stuff. It's a circus.
