if you hand me my glasses like that i’m going to cry

and if you touch my guitar like that you’re going to die

[–] radioactiveradio@lemm.ee 17 points 1 year ago (2 children)

You're fine with the orange juice and camera?

[–] omgarm@feddit.nl 16 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Hmm, hand flavoured juice.

[–] radioactiveradio@lemm.ee 19 points 1 year ago (2 children)

That was just water, the color is from their fingernails.

[–] nei7jc@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Out of all the things you could've said, you chose to say that.

[–] bloubz@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Out of all the things, you chose

[–] nei7jc@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

I did not choose to keep that in my memory

[–] Iron_Lynx@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Out of all the things you could have chosen to say, and you decided that. I hope you stub your little toe twice today.

"Here, have some orange hand juice! Tastes finger lickin' good!"

you have a point, those are equally disgusting

[–] Technological_Burger@lemmy.world 17 points 1 year ago (3 children)

The third image reminds me of the following wise words:

“Always carry a microfiber cloth with you“ -Steve Jobs

Soft paper tissues work just as well in my one year experience of owning glasses.

[–] Technological_Burger@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I always feel like I’ll end up scratching them with paper tissues lol

[–] radioactiveradio@lemm.ee 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That's what I thought too, but I used the super soft ones and surprisingly they work super well.

[–] Technological_Burger@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Oh damn will definitely try it out…after I recover from this trauma you have caused my brain 🤣 ugh the juice makes me so uncomfortable

[–] radioactiveradio@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago

You're welcome 😁

[–] bloubz@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

What? How could you ever scratch glass with paper? Is paper ewtraordinary rough where you live? Where I read paper I have to imagine soft and delicate paper

Hahaha. Some tissue paper has textures on it. I meant that could scratch it.

I always carry my shirt with me

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

Personally I always carry my shirt ON me, but you do you, I guess 🤷

“Don’t forget to bring a towel” -Towelie

[–] tdawg@lemmy.world 16 points 1 year ago

If someone did that to my guitar I would punch them

[–] Squiglet@lemmy.world 14 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Pic 1 is a bit of a stretch. You'd have to be highly regarded to grab a glass like that

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Highly regarded like the mayor? Like a pillar of the business community? Like Ke$ha?

[–] McJonalds@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

kesha could survive the public backlash for the glass

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

I mean, she hasn't been tarred, feathered and deported for her music yet, so probably 🤷

[–] Bleach7297@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 year ago

It's true, I was at a gala dinner and saw Sir David Attenborough pass a glass of orange juice just like that and nobody batted an eye.

[–] DSAlKota@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago

That is hard to look at.

[–] HRDS_654@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Hands knife back blade first

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Fun fact: amongst olden European nobility, handing someone a knife with the handle first meant that you wanted them to use it to kill themselves. Then again, they didn't actually hand each other knives that often afaik 🤷

I am often a victim of number 3, especially, with my young kids around :(

[–] ruck_feddit@lemmy.ml 7 points 1 year ago

Are pic 2 and 3 not the same? Don't touch the lenses

[–] allforthebest@infosec.pub 6 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

You're haha on it because it's funny, but a couple weeks ago my friend gave me an empty glass like on the first picture for sure, and he was totally fine.

[–] navitux@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

It makes me feel uncomfortable

[–] gooddaytodayhere@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago
