I'm calling the police.

The worst thing about this whole video is the way she cut those onions at the end.

Sorry, could not last that long. What a train wreck

Scissors are fine. Just... not like this.

Take one whole bunch of onions and chaotically chop random pieces off the top half, leaving every onion stubby AF. Perfect.

I was fine with just the lil smokies, cheese, onions and chili. That would be a pretty cool little take on a chili dog.

But then she put bbq sauce, mustard, corn and biscuits all into the same pan. 🤢

Yeah, no chocolate and Coca-Cola? Where did she get her tiktok diploma?

[–] AA5B@lemmy.world 5 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I was already backing away when she flopped all the cheese on one end. She even came back with a spatula to clean out the cheese sauce jar but still didn’t attempt to cover the other end.

I did get just past the point where she dumped 4 lb shredded cheddar on top so I guess the cheese sauce doesn’t matter

I was frustrated that she used cheezewiz when she had actual cheese that she added later

[–] Oderus@lemmy.world 3 points 7 months ago

Shredded cheese contains corn starch so they don't stick together. Better idea is use a block of cheese and shred it.

I got ultra frustrated at her lack of skills using a spatula to clean out the jars and stopped watching.

I can see the basic idea of salty, cheesy additives and comfort food, but there are many better choices, as well as better preparation.

It just keeps getting worse... Every time I think she's done she just keeps adding shit...

[–] Mautobu@lemmy.world 5 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Gross. That shit is for sure not cooked through.

Even if it is... I think the 2gr of onions was the only thing not preprocessed in there.

I really have no idea how Americans stay alive eating that... like I'd die if there was no salad for lunch... any kind of a vegtable really. I mean, meat is OK, I like meat as well, but the ammounts I've seen in these dishes... my god, I mean, how much meat do you need!?!

[–] AFKBRBChocolate@lemmy.world 2 points 7 months ago

The only things in there that need to be cooked are the corn and the biscuits

[–] Tobberone@lemm.ee 1 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I was thinking much the same, but I spotted the egg in the end as well. But I had no sound on, maybe it was something else? Like that "Yellow" stuff somebody called mustard.

[–] 0x4E4F@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 7 months ago

No, it was butter. She put butter on the cookies.

[–] CryptidBestiary@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago

People putting anything into the oven and calling it a casserole 🤦‍♂️

[–] pixelmeow@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Nothing about that was southern, I don’t care how many times she said “y’all”. 🤮

[–] AA5B@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago (1 children)

She added biscuits. That makes it southern

[–] pixelmeow@lemmy.world 3 points 7 months ago

“biscuits” in cans don’t count. :P
