Can't have inflation if consumer demand has collapsed

Immortan Joe's visionary economic policies are curbing the excessive water demand driving up inflation.
This is cracking me up.
MFW capitalism shits itself when there is too much business going on. But sure, a planned economy is totally absurd.
Kinda wild how when the vast majority of people, the workers, get a modicum of gains, the system shits itself, but if it funnels unlimited wealth into a couple hundred already rich people, things are working great.
One more thing libs will claim to fix if only you just come out and again. Please ignore that Biden did nothing about it the last 4 years we promise he probably will do something about it the next 4.
Yes, it's very cool that the Democrats dropped the interest rates to nothing for a year allowing AirBnB deplete the available housing stock and drive prices up to the highest point in history. It was also cool that they then jacked up rates to the highest point in my lifetime to ensure that first time homebuyers will never be able to afford anything, and existing homeowners can never afford to sell and lose their once in a lifetime mortgage rates. It's almost like the Democrats specifically engineered a situation where Millennials and Gen Z will never be able to afford homes unless there's another historic economic crash or mass population die off. Who needs public housing when the market allocates resources so well?
With the influence of the Federal Reserve, mortgage rates were at it's lowest in the last 50 years in 2021.
Mortgage rates drops when there is a Democratic president and rises again when there is a Republican president.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to post these facts.
brb going to a mortgage broker to ask for a '21 special
Why did you wait? You only have the cash now?
If that's the case, you probably should build up more of an emergency before you buy anyway.
I figured that because we had a democratic president, mortgage rates would just keep dropping.
That only happens if you have 4 Democratic presidents consecutively. Get out and vote!
Is this a bit?
It must be...
How many Democratic presidents do you have to elect to get them to stop being genocidal freaks?
Oh boy, I just love being forced to work for 30+ years just to have a roof over my head 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Who has slaughtered more children so far, Biden or Trump?
The average 30-year fixed rate reached an all-time record low of 2.65% in January 2021 before surging to 7.79% in October 2023, according to Freddie Mac.
lmao you dork, this would imply Trump is responsible for the 50 year lows and Biden responsible for the major spike
Did the specific dates just slip your mind?
It went away?
There was a brief dip that indicated a return to the seasonal cycle of housing costs dropping in the winter because fewer people are moving that the usual suspects were heralding as the end of inflation, but that dip obviously did not hold.
Don't call it a comeback I've been here for years
Inb4 libs run on "we raised your property values. What more do you want?"
