So uhhh....when do we get the "I told you so" award?
Sometimes I wonder how the people in charge look at themselves with a straight face and call themselves Christian. Like, do they seriously think the Christian God would just let them get away with this? There's only so much they can lie to themselves about.
That's the most on brand hell-world part of this, it's never going to happen.
Conservatives will seamlessly transition from arguing climate change isn't real to blaming it on minorities and the global south, embracing eco-fascism as a solution for climate change while totally denying they ever denied it. Then the liberals will seamlessly transition from pretending to care about cutting emissions to adopting the increasingly bleak conservative stance, just on a five to ten year delay so they can continue to claim the conservatives are worse.
