Does a chicken shawarma count as a sandwich? What about a Donair? If not, I'll go with a medianoche

[-] Feinsteins_Ghost@hexbear.net 9 points 3 months ago

Hell yeah it does.

Lets have a sammich struggle session.

Anything between anything else is a sandwich. A pizza folded in half is a sandwich. A taco is a sandwich. A ravioli is a sandwich. The Earth is a sandwich. I think the only thing that isn't a sandwich is probably the universe, but that's only assuming it isn't rolled in on itself and is actually flat. Folks don't believe me but then they cut a baguette in the middle but not all the way through, put stuff in it, and call it a sub sandwich, so I'm not wrong.

I agree with all of this.

[-] HexbearGPT@hexbear.net 5 points 3 months ago

communism? you guessed it, also a sandwich.

A poptart is a kind of ravioli when you think about it

Ruben if I want to be fancy

[-] RedWizard@hexbear.net 4 points 3 months ago

Love a Ruben. I've tried just about every ruben in my state. All good, but the range is pretty wide.

[-] whogivesashit@lemmygrad.ml 3 points 3 months ago

A couple of years ago I discovered the Bahn Mi. Delicious!

It's a Vietnamese sammich with pork, mayo, pickled veggies, and cilantro, on a French baguette!

Delish. Now I want one.

I am on a quest to find the perfect vegan gyro. I really miss those.

[-] DragonBallZinn@hexbear.net 5 points 3 months ago

Portabella mushroom burgers. I also love a good tofu Bahn Mi.

I have shoved slices of lasagna between two slices of buttered toast and some ceasar-smothered lettuce. To ask me my favourite sandwich is to ask me which child i love more. I struggle between French Dip, Italian Beef, and Cheesesteak. But, a proper Croque Monsieur or Madame can change my day. As long as i can walk and eat, i am happy (even with just a veggie delite from subway).

damn how can i possibly choose???

either a po'boy, philly cheesesteak, muffaletta, bocadillo, milanesa sandwich, schnitzel sandwich ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.... fuck don't make me choose!!!

[-] Dolores@hexbear.net 1 points 3 months ago
