๐Ÿค— Thanks for joining our little instance here, located in Oregon. The idea is to have a fast, stable instance and allow users to subscribe to whatever content they want from here.

๐Ÿ˜Ž We dont block any other instances. We will keep it that way unless it becomes a moderation problem.

๐Ÿค  We will be around for a very long time, so you dont have to worry about us shutting down the instance anytime soon. We like performance and stability in our servers, and will upgrade the instance when its needed.

๐Ÿฅน Make sure to join a lot of remote communities to get a good feed going. How to do that is explained here.

Hello everyone,

I've seen your community created yesterday, welcome to Lemmy!

As I've seen a few people asking about mobile apps, here is a list with filters: https://www.lemmyapps.com/

At some point, apps might as your for your "instance". You can fill that field with "lemmy.ca", then use your username and password to login. This should work, if not, feel free to comment below.

All of those interfaces allow you to access the same content as the default interface, it's all about preference!

Greetings, everyone! My name is Andres, and I am the developer of LemmyApps.com. Today, I would like to share what I have been working on for the past several months.

What is LemmyApps.com?

LemmyApps.com helps users discover Lemmy apps that best suit their needs. Whether that means apps that are open source, free, etc.

This is the first public release, so expect bugs!

What does this site offer?

  • Use the API to get apps, releases and platform information.
  • Sort apps by last commit, last release, downloads and many more attributes.
  • Filter apps by platform, open source, free, and in-app purchases.
  • Users can submit apps and update their listings with new releases easily.
  • Users can claim apps and update their author profiles.
  • Supports every platform and sub-platform -- including lesser known stores.
  • Every 6 hours, information is aggregated from GitHub, GitLab, Play Store and the App Store.
