I pretty much like Epic. I've gotten tons of free quality games for free that don't have micropayment or tons of ads. Sure they might not be the newest version of the game, but there is something to be said about playing a game free from ads and not feeling like a second class citizen for not spending more on a "free" game than most people spend on rent and groceries combined.

My 2 favorite cities that is lived in were San Francisco and Rio de Janeiro. Apart from both of them being gorgeous and fun, one of the best things was that I did not need a car.

I remember back in the 90s I found a cabinet just like that, but without the TV. Since I was broke back then, I took it back to my place and used it as a computer desk.

You are not too old. I feel the exact same way. Anything worth keeping should be saved locally. Plus storage today is so cheap, there really is no excuse to save exclusively on the cloud.
I would switch to Linux in a heartbeat if it ran all the programs I use. And yes, I know about wine, but it's still not all there yet. Thankfully there are more and more programs I use that now run natively in Linux, so I still have hope.
