Someone elsewhere shared this but:
Go into your ublock origin settings and go to your My Filters section. Add:
www.youtube.com##+js(nano-stb, resolve(1), *, 0.001)
on a new line and apply. Should stop the delay from occuring.

When the Redditpocalypse started and we all came this way, someone made a post about this very thing. I still stand by my statement that day (which I paraphrase):
I don't care about emoji's enough to whine until it's excessive. Reddit's insistence that one "😀" is the end of the world was pants-on-head-stupid. Use emoji's all you fuckin' want, but if you start putting 3+ in 1 comment I'm going to prep a straight jacket for the person.
Having never heard of this nor read the article, I assume it was the 2020's equivalent of the old AIM chatbots that were amusing to talk to for 11 seconds before realizing you had better shit to do.
If you didn't get an answer elsewhere yet: You click the button and it sits pending until approved (whether its Ernest approving manually or an automated batchjob I don't know). Seems to be once a day or so, so could be either but that's just anecdotal. That's it tho. Click the button and wait, no other steps lol.
Either way, once approved the magazine will just appear in your moderated list on your profile (no notification or anything from what I've seen) and from there it's yours to do with as you want. I've claimed a dozen or so over the last day or so to delete (unused ones people sat on).
What a horrible day to have not lost my eyes to childhood diabetes.
kbin has been vastly lagging behind lemmy because for a lengthy period of time development has been effectively stopped as the primary dev (ernest) was going through some bad real life issues which took priority. This led to a lot of people leaving kbin or blocking it outright because of spam and bots and lack of updates.
Ernest returned a weekish ago and is back to publishing updates (including several which have already killed the spam problem, being able to transfer community ownership and more) and daily posts dictating what he's working on and pushing (including the API which should be within the next few days).
Lemmy at this point has had a huge head start and isn't basically one person so kbin lagging behind isn't surprising. Doesn't mean their statement of 'But this is also why Kbin is the best technology, combining both platforms.' is any less accurate. Kbin does combine both platforms, Lemmy doesn't. 'Best' can be subjective, but if that's their opinion then there ya go.
The average LEXX fan! lmao
LEXX.
Low budget, Canadian sci-fi which is slapped together with duct tape, bad CGI, and every ounce of pure unadulterated horny that the 90's could muster!
That moment when the couple across the bar start looking your way.
Ex cathedra, iirc (or something similar).
Under~~aged~~rated comment right there!
kbin.social is run by the main kbin dev, Ernest, so kbin.
