I just started Cult of the Lamb yesterday. What a strange little adorable game! I'm having a great time with it so far

Hahahaha, this is what made me quit twitch, for good. I'll do the same with YouTube. It'll suck, yes, but it'll ultimately be good for me and my mental health. 3 years from now I won't miss YouTube.

Hahaha, having men try to interact with me as a man is so fucking weird! I don't think I'll ever get used to it, even though it's going to keep happening for the rest of my life, because apparently I look like a man, despite being all of 5'0".

Like today a 60-70 year old drunk biker boomer guy at the bar I sometimes go to told me a whole ass story about how he used to get in fights all the time, and I tried my best to respond appropriately, pretending I knew what it was like to get into physical altercations with people, but like, I don't, because I was a girl during prime fighting years, so I have never been anywhere close to being in a physical fight with anyone.

Life is really fucking strange sometimes, you know?

Ha, I'm not actually too surprised Jorbs is a communist. He seems super thoughtful and compassionate, and every time I've heard him even gesture towards his own politics, it's seemed like a decent, non-ghoulish take.

It's good to know though! Jorbs is pretty fun to watch, I like his incredibly dry sense of humor. It's so funny to me when someone in chat has a terrible bit of slay the spire advice and Jorbs just absolutely roasts them while never changing his tone even a little bit

So, uh, OP, did you just post a link to your own subscription required blog?

You wrote a shitty post starting from one tiny bit of incredibly poorly sourced data and then making sweeping essentialist claims about gender. Then you posted your shitty piece here, behind a paywall!

Are you hoping that people from here will subscribe to your medium on the basis of the three paragraphs of dogshit we can read before the paywall cuts off the rest?

Have I mischaracterized your post in some way? Please tell me if so.

If it makes you feel better, I was thinking you were a smug carnist before I read the comment in which you admit to being one. It's not hard to see from a comment or two that you're in here to drop the same shitty carnist arguments we've all heard before.

Stop eating animals.

Wait, you're bothered by someone saying Kevin Hart is a shitty comedian? Have I read this right? I hate to say it, but if that's enough for you to be mad at the ebil hexbears, you should really probably just keep us blocked

But "Zionist" doesn't mean the same thing anymore, and I bet he doesn't fully grasp what he's identifying with in a modern sense.

So we're in the position where a sitting US president is making speeches using words he doesn't understand? Wow, that does not seem great. Maybe we should have a president who knows what words mean, you know?

Also, I have to admit, I don't care if someone has genocide as a goal or not. I care a bit more about their actions. Will a person's actions lead to more genocide? If so, then I think that person should be removed from power, immediately, regardless of what they think about genocide.

zifnab's comment has links to:

  • The Washington Post
  • A paper from Duke University
  • The Guardian

These seem to me like sources that wouldn't usually be prominent in facebook conspiracy theory groups.

Can you please tell me what the issue is with zifnab's comment? Why do you feel like the comment would be more at home in a facebook conspiracy theory group?

He's right though, the song is basically saying "life is hard for conservative cishet white men because of the got dang politicians taxing us", and that's a fundamentally reactionary view of the world.

If you want recommendations for good, actually working class country songs, might I recommend Woodie Guthrie? Or Peggy Seeger? They're a little more on the folk side, but they're really good.
