The thing is that governing bodies could have made ignoring robot.txt a crime.

I already went through that it plays into his hands. now he can furlough whoever he likes and the court can't say boo. right now the firings are being challenged and that is a good thing. - Look im adding this here as I meant to put it before. My knee jerk reaction was the same. Resist no matter what but I have outlayed why its worse to allow the shutdown is all. Be mad thats fine. But I just thought it over and realized the shutdown could be and likely would be worse and just allow trump to do what he is doing easier. He effectively is shutting down the government on a permanent basis.

government is not stopped. we have had government shutdowns and things keep going. non essential government as chosen by the executive arm of the government are shutdown. I have been through two or three shutdowns. everything is not shut down. I mean I have listed why its actually worse if its shut down in this particular scenario. there is not more to tell. it really does play into their favor and the only reason they would not want to overtly do it is optics.

unfortunately wheel of time. I can't keep from wanting it to be better. I really don't get how that ip took so long for something and finally when it gets done it diverges so far from the source material.

sorta but someone who works for a living who can no longer work do to age is not going to get richer by living longer.

I mean I made my point but will expand. Under shutdown. They furlough anyone they want. They say any bad effects are from the shutdown (democrats). Courts are powerless to say who gets furloughed because its a shutdown (as opposed to unlawful firings). After shutdown they fire furloughed people because hey they got by without them during the shutdown (even though they really didn't). They got what they want either way but since the government is the only one challenging the illegal behavior its in some ways better with the shutdown especially when they can blame dems for it. I honestly think the shudown is preferable for them as long as they can say its not their fault.

oh man. I knew so many little kids that would have a spontaneous im an X day. This is so wierd. So its. First they came for the trans, then they came for minorities, then they came for the women, and then the furries

because they would look incredibly stupid. it was their bill. also in win win scenarios it does not really matter.

thats not how it works. with the super rich the shorter your parents life the sooner you become rich.

they can operate but because of the shutdown employees have to be furloughed and they can choose anyone. when they fire someone it can be done without cause or break laws that can allow the courts to undo it but there will be little ability to undo a furlough that is because of a shutdown.

Just some additional advertising for todays boycott.

I can relate with this one. Not the specific but sitting around later in the day suddenly thinking. Did I do something incredibly stupid earlier???

Was talking with my brother the other night. I was saying. I wonder if folks in nazi germany stood around and where like: This guy is pretty wierd and these things he is doing is wack. He talks like he is going to be a new kaiser or Charlemagne but his supporters are like. Oh don't be dramatic its not the end of democracy.

This sorta surprises me as my wife has an art background and can do this stuff great. Im pretty sure she can make anything look or smell/taste good. Ugh the consumerism around women though. I often wonder how they existed before a certain point in history based on what is essential now.

The guy on the grounds clothes or something likely are supposed to indicate who he is but for me the only thing that made it clear is the nazi (I keep on thinging there is a t in that) flag he seemed to have dropped form the initial push.

So in the notes she mentions she has no idea what a tomato picker is. Funny thing is they tend to have all these gadgets or toys im unaware of so until I read the note I thought it might be a thing.

So I felt clerks was like the movie that captured the Xer feel and I was seeing a discussion of superbad and I sorta wonder if that might be the millenial one and american graffiti seems to be talked about in terms of boomers and maybe rebel without a cause for silent and maybe grapes of wrath for the greatest generation. Im grasping here. with the lost generation you have the dawn of movies but I was thinking the jazz singer. Im really not sure with Z and my guess for millenials seems a bit early but they have started making generational ranges under the 20 year standard in span I think under the auspices that things just change faster now. Theoretically Z would be coming out about now or in the last few years. What are folks opinions. Yes and I realize generations are artificial buckets so I would appreciate comments being kept to what you think the movies might be if your game to go through the hypethetical.

This is another kids one. Which given its a diary/blog comic should mostly be the norm. Im really hoping this comic can keep going as it will be interesting for it to turn into empty nesters and old retired folks at some point (you know if that is a thing decades from now). An interesting thing on the site is obby who is the dad (another funny thing he would be called the husband in my comment before the kids) and has taken the tech load including administering the site I think. Anyway he has a note that they removed the banner although in actuality they just changed it to a static thanks to the fans due to the coporate reality of the times. So they are taking a stand here that can be witnessed every day. Its funny because he mentioned they tried to block particular coporations but there are so many possible ones something was bound to slither through. I should note however that my no script still shows googleadservices and doubleclick but since they are running through a service, I assume at least, Im not sure if they really have control of that. Would be neat if they could move the archives to something they controlled themselves and change it into a redirect link.

My take is to now bake my own cookies.

This one is to far out for me to get. I think the most baby teeth lose at one time in my experience is like 2 or 3 but I did not have kids so its just friends and family for what I know.

I like todays.

almost forgot today. Looks like that two year thing with her kids is not following the seasons. Im pretty jelly of the pumpkin patch in their area.
