If the buildings vent stack is operating properly smells shouldn't be coming out of the drains, no matter how much they pour down it.

If the vent stack is clogged or insufficiently sized, air could be forced up through the traps, but you'd be smelling sewer gas too. It's a really rank smell you'd notice, so I think the polysytrene smell is probably coming in some other way.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I haven't worked in over 10 years, but my disability benefits were taken away. I've applied for reconsideration and then appealed when that was denied because I can keep the benefits going while I wait for that to play out.

My current plan is to get a shit job just to have something to put on a resume. Places like fast food and convenience stores will hire anyone who has a pulse and can make change. Maybe you can try something like that? I'm trying to stay positive about it by telling myself it'll be temporary.

Every 20 minutes isn't really that surprising, especially when you've got the money to buy it. You're already coming down from the peak about 5 minutes after a hit. There's a bit of a tail, but I've seen plenty of people hitting the pipe the second they start coming down, and those people didn't have millions of dollars to buy more.

dean-neutral

spoilerForgive this rambling explanation, I haven't deeply explored my feelings on this.

I always feel a little weird giving my honest response to this question because I feel like I'm taking something away from trans people.

I don't identify with my birth assigned gender, but I do generally conform to it in dress and appearance and don't care to change that. I don't feel like I'm any gender at all(is that agender?). I don't ever feel gender dysphoria and don't really think about my gender identity often. I do sometimes feel pressure to conform to my birth gender in behavior, and that really bothers me because that's the aspect of gender I don't identify with. When I was younger I always felt like I was performing my assigned gender, and as an older person I'm glad I'm mostly free of that.

I think that makes me trans, but I'm not sure.

If you go the VPN route make sure you do a leak test(https://ipleak.net/) before you start downloading stuff. If you pass those tests you're safe.

You can definitely get PSX games from torrent sites, I just checked 1337.to and they've got a ton.

Real-debrid is cheaper and easier to setup safely for a beginner. It's basically just a service that downloads torrents(and those weird paid download sites like nitro upload) for you. You submit the torrent file or magnet link to their website and it gives you a direct download link. Since you aren't sharing pirated files with anyone, there's no chance of getting copyright warnings. There are also a bunch of streaming apps(stremio is the best) that work with real-debrid to give you a Netflix like experience for pirated movies/TV with little effort.

My favorite uncle had this. I constantly bugged him to play it because I imagined it much cooler than it really was. We finally set it up and it was such a letdown.

Yeah, I don't think the algorithms are the valuable part of social media sites. It's the active users that make up the network effects. Meta has likely already figured out the algorithms already, Instagram reels is struggling because creators go where the viewers are and viewers spend the most time on the platform that has their favorite creators.

I remember enjoying the first one, but this one feels tedious. Fighting the machines is still pretty good, but the story is more of the same, presented poorly. The climbing is just stupid, things that look easy to climb are impassable. It's like they wanted to have an Assassin's Creed style vertical element, but didn't want to spend the time to design a vertical world.

They could have fixed that issue with a few holes. One of the reasons cars have gotten more rust resistant over the years is better drainage design. Water will always find a way in, it needs to find a way out.

I'm sure there will continue to be knockoff z80's manufactured in China for a long time. There are plenty available on AliExpress right now, though I'm not sure of the quality.

I realize this isn't what you asked, but they should contact some lawyers who do labor law. Government agencies are generally hard to motivate even when you give them proof. Anonymous claims that require investigation aren't likely to be pursued.

Even though 10-15 minutes a shift might seem like not enough money to incentivise a lawyer, they can file a lawsuit on behalf of all similarly situated employees for all of the lost wages. Even if your friend doesn't want to be identified in a lawsuit, they can get a consultation. The lawyer can, especially with help from your friend, find someone to represent the group(like someone who no longer works there).

Dynalink DL-WRX36 is a good bargain right now. ~$80, WiFi 6 support, good specs, especially for the money, solid WiFi range. It's not the easiest(nor hardest) to install OpenWRT on, but anyone going the OpenWRT route should be prepared for some Googling, fiddling and forum reading anyway.
