"Learning the hard way" implies that he's the one suffering. He doesn't care about anyone who can't give him a million on the spot.

Someone who looks like Elon getting physical with anyone is sorta wild. Many 62 year olds could curb stomp him without breaking a sweat. Surprised Trump didn't hire his mom to babysit him like she did against Zuckerberg, who would have broke him in half.

No wonder he has to use IVF to impregnate all of his baby mamas, he's probably got a catheter in every time he's not in his piss dungeon safe spaces.

I try not to downvote just based on disagreements, but based on degrees of bad faith, at least on politics. My upvotes are definitely progressive and anti-genocide. With this topic I think it's fair to say that every comment defending genocide is inherently bad faith.

I wouldn't personally care too much how mods vote, so long as they're not botting. It is far more concerning to see reported instances of violent rhetoric being ignored on an instances and that may warrant clear cases being reported to the instance mods.

It could be beneficial to the world news portion to adopt a similar recommendation in their rules to politics, which is recommending that they vote more similarly to Jordan, EG not downvoting people who make real arguments to support their points. The point of these discussions should be dialog between competing viewpoints and it gets hard to do if they're downvoted into oblivion for not knowing something you do or vice versa. It would then also be much harder for mods to justify their votes on validly sourced genocide coverage. Just my 2c

Wanting freedom is now the same level of evil as genocide? This is your brain on propaganda.

Something as powerful as an M3 at the very least could be used as a folding@home client. Other suggestions would be a rendering farm machine, a retro emulator for higher end consoles like PS3+, or part of a carputer since it's got GPS and is quite efficient.

Did Josh Hawley even say thank you? Looked like he almost pissed his pants.

Iirc Trump steaks are frozen. Walmart steaks are quite good and never frozen.

Can't speak much on that, but I can tell you that I worked on the computer of someone who used high contrast settings to help them see the screen better and after visiting 3 or 4 major websites it was clear most don't account for background gui changes and will use less code rather than forcing it, which leads to white on white or black on black text. Part of why I was there was it was getting worse, and so they got a 55" TV as a monitor, which allowed them to go back to standard windows appearance and avoid all the nonsense.

"Dual loyalty" is never targeted at zionists, it is targeted at jews (and catholics for a different reason). It is still a racist bigoted trope.

Occasionally, on my daily walks, I see squirrels who aren't scared of humans and can catch detailed photos of them with only a smartphone. This one popped up from a dumpster to the ledge and seemed much more interested in eating than running.

This article is likely to become more and more relevant, but I wanted to highlight many of these heroes for a central theme, which is that not a single one of these people said, "I will not comply" to make themselves a target. They kept their power and used it to save thousands, or they forged documents or narratives through a normal process without drawing unnecessary attention to themselves.
