Pop!_OS is built different than other distros, I only had to apply 1 tweak and was minor AF. Honestly, if they were up to date with Ubuntu, I'd still be using that banger distro. First they must build COSMIC, their Rust based DE.

With tweaking, I'm sure most games would be just fine running on the Steam Deck. It's just a matter of figuring out the right settings.
I find older Windows games have the most issues like Oblivion or Morrowind if you install the stock standard GOTY. However, there's an open version of Morrowind that can be run via Lutris its just a bitch to get Lutris to work. Persistence is key.
They are being disruptive in a way that isn't kind; arrests would be the best way to deal with them. They are white nationalists, shouting slurs at black people who are fellow citizens in the USA, we should not let them believe this behavior will go unpunished. It will make it worse in the future, enabling hate groups to thrive is something a sane country should never allow.
Gaming on Linux has drastically improved. I'm still cautious about buying non-native games and running them via Proton, but I am no longer worried about not having access to cool games! Proton is one of the best innovations that Valve came out with thanks to their Steam Deck. It makes non-native games feel like native titles, most of the time my save data is intact, and I can just pick up where I left off. It's rare that I can't use an older save if I am using Proton to play a game.
Until they can protect the hinge better, I wouldn't be able to purchase one of these over a slab style phone. A grain of fine sand would ruin this phone's life. I'm waiting on the time when foldable devices improve drastically enough for me to get one.
I'm worried about this game now; I want this game to be good, because Obsidian are very competent storytellers! However, pushing Avowed this far back makes me wonder if they merely needed more time. That we'll actually get a fantastic game next year. Also, a part of me thinks this will be a Cyberpunk 2077 situation all over again. From absolute tatters to finally decent game after numerous post launch patches.
ROFL It awakened feelings as a teen (I've always been gay, but didn't really know it 100% until I watched the Men's Olympics). It was a confirmation that I found men's bodies to be the sexiest thing alive! Women's Olympics did nothing for me, it was also a confirmation of what I suspected.
It's the oddest choice to sue FromSoftware because Elden Ring, a Souls-like which, is advertised to be a very difficult game. Personally, I stay away from Fromsoft games because of their difficulty, I play games for fun; any game that requires an extreme amount of skill right out off the bat is simply not it to me. I guess this person can waste their money doing whatever they'd like; I don't see them having any hope of winning this frivolous lawsuit.
After a short and social battery draining work week; I am doing better. Day 2 of 4 off, I can sink deep into Astroneer and recharge! I'll also get laundry done, a short shopping trip accomplished too. At some point, there's no rush to get either task done.
Yep, as regulation is surely coming because LLM development is such a Wild West Situation. Any scummy, dumpster fire Corpos will certainly put a rush on acquiring enough training data to make artists useless to them in the future. These mind blind, money-grubbing bastards are actively chasing that quick buck before it comes crashing down on them. Grab the bag and don't get beat up with that regulation ruler!
There are already some fuckwits (Apple, Anthropic, Nvidia, Salesforce) who actively scrapped content from YouTube titles and videos; data laundering that stolen content, but if you prompt their AI just right, you can see the direct influence the stolen data has on whatever the LLM generates. Reference Article It's a gross practice that needs to be regulated and punished quickly because these corporations need regulation to be arm wrestled into barely acting civil.
ROFL They could keep that mouse in that case! Trying to normalize enshittification is a real cute look, makes me want to buy other than Logitech next time I make a keyboard and mouse purchase. I'll support System 76 or a slightly saner corporation with a mouse and keyboard purchase.
Its only one LTS Version behind, but its still very usable. I have confidence that COSMIC is going to be just as easy to use as Pop!_OS is now. This gives them an opportunity to make even more changes that will improve the end user experience. The System76 team knows what they are doing and won't release a busted product.
