over correcting into enthusiastic support for religion can also be problematic.

I don't generally see this happen around here, I feel hexbear users have pretty even-keeled views on religion as a whole, barring those with religious trauma who are completely justified in their negative views. I'd certainly never allow outright evangelism anywhere on the site. And as others have said, the christianity comm is barely alive, same with /c/judaism, and /c/islam has been locked forever due to lack of mods. This is not a site that's enthusiastic about religion.

Hey I'm fine with that viewpoint on religion as a whole but this part:

most people on this site aren't Marxists

is completely unnecessary. Good comrades can disagree on things like this and still be materialists.

9.5 hours, jesus christ that's self-indulgent even by Tim's standards. Still gonna watch it though, in chunks over a week or 2 lol

Trying to decide what class to play for my first solo Baldurs Gate 3 run and the paladin oaths all seem too easy to break for completely unintuitive reasons. Like each oath reads like a random comfortable lib's worldview with tenets like "loyalty", "honesty", "The Law(TM)", with the ingame results being completely morally incoherent. If your oath says you have to keep your word, and you lie to and betray an objectively evil person in the game, ayy lmao our oath is broken! The gods hate you now! Deeply unserious Bethesda-ass system

OH I ALMOST FORGOT there was a 2nd car I wanted to test drive but couldn't, because on its last test drive black smoke started billowing out of the engine mid-drive hahaha They claimed it was because of a "coolant leak dripping onto the engine", which is probably true but still plummeted my faith in their QC

I had no clue they were "Christian" until well after I walked in the door and actually listened the shitty overhead music saying "Jesus is glorious". On the outside it looks like every other petit boug franchise car dealership lol
