a-little-trolling Folks, the gay French are coming after us. They want us eating the silly little frogs and snails instead of American beef. Pretty soon regular bread. Will. Be. Banned. We'll only be allowed to eat their gay bagettes and crossaunts. They'll ban Spanish in high school and make everyone learn their stupid language of [indistinguishable noises mocking the French for like 3 minutes interupted by hooting and hollering hogs]. Anyway, I say we nuke their whole dumb continent if they don't commit to their NATO obligations.

To be fair, Israel has many, many more international laws that it needs to start abiding by. It has to be difficult to narrow it down because Israel needs to start following international laws in general.

Remember that, ultimately, Russia got to the point of launching the SMO. It took a lot. Basically a decade of fascists running Ukraine while it pretended to be a democracy. We have to wait the decades where nothing happens for the weeks where decades happen. I don't know when and I don't know how, but the forces of history will crush the imperialists.

The dark god of capital will weaken and be slain eventually. We just have to wait and suffer while it's still strong and seemingly unassailable.

It's probably that they just don't know how many bases they actually have in the region. There is a guy that maintains a list of all the US military bases that he knows about and that can be identified. In the news it was reported that the Pentagon allegedly uses his list because they don't have their own comprehensive list of military bases. Like $800 billion dollars and they don't even know where all of their own bases and facilities are.

I disagree on it being Biden's second term. She has nothing when it comes to policy and convictions which Biden at least had. People would really be voting for the soulless void of the democratic party machine.

Damn the CIA didn't let a good crisis go to waste. They can still be pretty ruthless and effective when the opportunity arises. Can't wait to read about this again in like 10 years to retrospectively learn how organic the protests were and the exact moment when the vultures were able to swoop in and use it to enforce subservience to the empire.

I've seen people argue that the US miscalculated, that the war has been a failure because neither the Ukrainian military nor the sanctions have put a dent in Russia's performance, but actually destroying Russia and breaking it open for the neoliberals to feast on was only the most favorable possible outcome.

I'm at the point where I think US foreign policy is just controlled chaos. I first heard that in reference to Syria years ago but it seems to make sense at large with how many places the US is trying to destabilize at once. If the empire can't have something then it will be burned to ash.

She can't even pretend to give a shit. The whole core of what democrats are supposed to do at the national level is pretend to give a shit, say something is troubling, and then do nothing to fix the issue. How can she not even do that?

think-about-it Putin is letting this happen so that he can tighten his grip on power. The Russian people are now defenseless and have to go back over to their would be tsar.

Reading TVTropes without being on the website is fucking weird. Half the fun is clicking the links to learn what inane bullshit every other phrase is.

Yes, and if she continues Bidens policies then the US will help the world reach net zero carbon emissions sooner. It's not just the fact that there have been massive subsidies for the coming green energy revolution but also wielding the USAs financial power as a weapon should have its advantages for the environment.

Various eco-neoliberal policies would be enacted to discipline foreign countries so that their economies can be kept smaller (and possibly even shrink) and this will minimize their production and consumption. This means their greenhouse gas emissions would be kept low until they can buy American made green energy after using a trivial amount of fossil fuels from places like Texas and Alaska in the mean time. We won't need ecofascists to destroy foreign countries for the environment if we have these forward thinking policies to guide us.

(How do you do stuff like this so often? This is very hard.)
