It's been a while since I watched Tatami Galaxy but I always got the impression that the MC did go through a lot of growth. But I'll have to rewatch it. If you haven't seen Ping Pong I'd highly recommend it. It's such a wholesome character study.

Jack's frozen pizza. Back in highschool my friends and I would each have one and watch Evangelion on Adult Swim. Been my go to slop since.
