There was always someone deciding what the public did or didn't see, it's just a different someone now.

The difference is with the internet you have the ability to instantly verify information, but most choose not to and instead just let their information be served. Its not that black and white, but most people are gonna believe what's served to them without much question, especially if it reinforces a bias.

I disagree.

That dream of the internet was killed by the apathy of its users. It doesn't matter if you have almost the entire knowledge base of humanity at your literal fingertips if you can't be bothered to actually use it to learn anything.

Normal childhood behavior isn't an indicator, that's my point.

Even if they opt not to transport, you will get harassed at every traffic stop when warrants pull up. They will take a lot longer than normal, and you still run the risk of getting arrested, even it they don't transport and instead release you later.

Man, I remember when we all had high hopes for the infinite knowledge of the internet...and we see how that's turned out.

I guess children's imaginations are autistic now? Lol.

I dont know how people still think that's how things work.

You don't pay a ticket in one state, they issue a warrant, then you get arrested in whatever state you live in AND get hauled to the issuing state in the back of a police car.

The other day I put some pants on that were on the floor. I reached into the pocket and felt something move on my hand. I beat the shit out of my own thigh for 30 seconds, fuck you brown recluse!

....it was string.

I've had multiple cats live into their 20s on dry kibble. They'll be fine.

I feel like the obvious answer here is that getting shot in the face doesn't necessarily mean getting shot in the brain, even though that is rarely survivable as well.

I'll take things that didn't happen for $1000, Alex.

You can type that all you want, but the fact is that there is an r sound when you say sauce . Delusional, I guess.
