Would be nice if someone else would be stepping up as well. Germany hardly has any military to speak of yet it is somehow delivering the most weapons in recent months/weeks.

Has anyone else the feeling that this will become a very long term thing of needing to protect shipping vessels and that it will affect prices of imported goods for the unforeseeable will rise ?

You are asking the wrong question. The question is "what are they losing from this" and the answer is nothing. They have committed war crimes for decades and not only is nobody turning away from them instead they get pumped full of even more and better weapons. Look at all the aid the west (mainly US) is sending them.

Why would they ever think about potential consequences if there are never any?

That's also not a home. That's a villain's lair.

Ironic how she was one of the big proponents of collective guilt yet she claims she didn't know her family was doing buisness with Russia

Of course you are reading through less garbage. There are like 100 million reddit users and like 10 Lemmy users.

Not everything is WW2 related my dude.

The saddle product family you're looking at literally has Medicus in its name and you rather associate a cross with the military and not the red cross or medicine.

Because they are editors and not handyman. Also there is most likely a huge issue with insurance when they do this kind of work which would not be covered by their contract/insurance.

Can you explain to me how auctioning something that they do not own is a mistake and not malice ? They knew they are being scummy doing that. Especially after the producer asked for it back AND they agreed to send it back. That is like robbing a bank and then saying "come on guys. was the heat of the moment. We didn't think robbing a bank was THAT bad"

Lying to someone and selling someone elses property is not a ''mistake". That is a crime.

News from Gamers Nexus. Including some part about the response from Linus regarding the previous video. Linus really likes to jump the gun and digging holes for himself.

I don't really think it's necessarily exploitive. Western countries place great value on education/training and certifications. And there is a clear difference on how such education/certification is obtained in the west vs other places of the world.

Acting like they are equal when in many cases they aren't is just not a good idea. Especially for someone like a police officer.

Also they brought two ladders. Redundancy means it's more safe right ?

Hey everyone.

Does anyone else have the same issue with the comments not being displayed properly? For lots of comments it shows the "view parent" link which just links to the main post again. It's impossible to see the actual parent comment.

No but what I noticed is that quite a few songs I had on my liked list are now unavailable and I have no clue which songs that were.

To be fair the majority of posts I see have barely any comments at all. Not sure if that is so much better.

Since a few days lemmy.world won't let me log in when I'm using a browser on my desktop computer.

I tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge including private tabs and without any extensions. I enter my username and password and then it prompts me to enter my 2fa token. When I do and press login nothing happens.

It doesn't say it's wrong or was rejected. The login button turns into the circle loading animation and then a second later back to login.

The weird thing is that on my phone it works using apps like Liftoff or chromebrowser.

What am I missing ?

edit:

Okay I feel very stupid now... It appears that for some reason the automatic time synchronization of my Windows computer was not working properly and therefore the OTP codes were out of sync and were being rejected. Lemmy was just not telling me that the OTP codes are wrong. After manually clicking the sync button in the date and time settings it works now.

Trying to find out how difficult (or not) it will be to switch from iso layout to ansi. Main reason is the much better choice of keycaps that will be available.

Have any of you made the switch ? If so how difficult was it ?

How is that answering the question of OP ?
