Okay, this bflix thing is amazing. How is it legal? How do they pay for it?

I'm not going to claim I know what's happening, but I like the self-DDoSing explanation because it's even funnier

I've done some weird stuff like making the volume wheel on the keyboard scroll or perform other functions, and it came in pretty handy in text editors or browsers, but less handy when you want to turn the volume down. Any time you have some weird idea like that, there's usually a pretty feasible way to make it work.

Customizing your system to the point that no one else can use it?

Seems like post aren't getting as many votes. I don't know if that's coincidental/slow news day, but look at the top posts from the last 24 hours vs past week.

I uninstalled rif when it stopped working. I forgot I had boost installed and it still works and I seem to be logged in. Not sure what's going on

I was also lurking without an account as I was waiting to see if reddit would get cold feet about pulling the plug (not that I had any real hope).

For me it's the principle of the thing. I don't want to support a business that conducts itself that way.

I looked up the article and it says they're limiting users with an adblocker to 3 videos pet day. They're testing it out on select users for now. Enshitification is killing all the sites I actually use(d) all at once
