There are no direct trains from Germany to Spain anymore.
It's still good, but some stupid people at the EU (I like the EU, but they're dead wrong on this one) "liberated" the rail market, and introduced cOmpEtItiOn and now the state rail operators can't get direct subsidies anymore, and they won't cooperate anymore
Nobody is deported for just demonstrating or speaking
So you're rolling without Support for the OS?
And how do you manage them?
We already have viable European Alternatives for all these 3

When it's hot during the day there is usually sun too. Solar makes this problem less worse
We should focus on reducing the emissions we can easily reduce right now. As I've said, intercontinental travel is not a huge part of plane travel/emissions in Europe.
You can make synthetic fuel from CO2 and lots of electricity, and researchers say, that this might be something for those long flights. But it will make them much much more expensive.
Night Trains for European Routes.
I do this regularly for all my long distance travels. It's unfortunately more expensive than flying, but it's better for the environment and you don't really lose time as it's over night.
Most flights aren't long distance, but "I want to get wasted 1000kms away on a 30€ easyJet Fare with the boys"
And even for the long distances in Europe, if the political will is there you could have High Speed Night Trains
