Connect (an amazing Canadian lemmy app) automatically shows all the communities a post has been crossposted to above the comments, and shows comment numbers for each of the cross posts. Its made my experience so much better. Theres a ton of other benefits to the app too, and the dev is super quick to respond to any issues. Can't recommend it enough.

Can confirm. When i first met my fiance, i gave her a tea box that i filled with pretty rocks, shells, pinecones etc. that i had found and enjoyed. We spent basically every day together for a month, but i already had a move planned and after i moved we drifted apart. Saw eachother maybe once every couple years as friends, and we both had other relationships. Then 6 years later we both got out of long relationships at the same time, ended up reconnecting, and basically immediately moved in together. She still had the box. Now we've lived together for 5 years and are getting married soon. Girls like pretty things that you find on the ground, and they like it even more when those pretty things make you think of her.
It seems like colony life is really only dangerous and rough when they're first getting established. In enterprise and strange new worlds most of the colonies further from our solar system probably aren't ideal, but by TNG there must be hundreds of well-established colonies with high quality of life that we just never see because nothing interesting happens there. I mean at the very least we see the one in the ghost fucking episode where everyone just decided they wanted to live like 1800s scotland, but they were safe and happy there for a long time and there's no reason they couldn't have had a more futuristic way of life. Their weather was fully controlled to simulate the highlands.
I don't know if you've ever seen cats fight each other, but i really doubt that cat was trying to take out an eye. When cats get aggressive/territorial with each other they give lots of little 'warning swipes' near sensitive areas, but just out of contact range. I suspect this is because they have these sensitive whiskers on their faces and near their eyes, so when a claw passes by those quickly its a real and sudden instinct to back the fuck away. I've also seen cats scratch at human faces quite often, and seen lots of minor injuries near the eyes/on the bridge of the nose, but never one that actually contacts the eye. This is all anecdotal and shouldn't be used as evidence for anything, but in my extensive experience with cats i strongly believe that they are both very capable of fucking someone up in extreme ways, but usually unwilling. They tend to have pretty good control over how far to take it. My cats fight each other all the time and it seems very savage, but they've never injured each other.
Im not saying you're wrong about the amount of carrier material, but sudafed(pseudoephedrine) and benadryl(diphenhydramine) are two completely different drugs.
Edit: also i don't think there's any liquid inside the shell
Yeah this one so much. I think its still amazing and the two seasons can each kinda stand on their own, and still have satisfying endings, but just knowing that they had an entire 5 season arc planned out drives me crazy considering how great that show was.
Just played this on steamdeck and it was incredible. I really cant see it being that good on mobile though.
I wonder if there's anything else you could 3d print that would help fight against corporate greed?
Seeing the aphex twin visuals with the disturbed music really threw me off until i realized someone had just mashed them up.
This comment is unbelievably stupid. People don't only drive their trucks for things that they would otherwise have to rent a car for. I guarantee for a huge percentage of truck owners 95%+ of their usage could easily be replaced by an ebike. You dont need a 3 ton pickup to drive to the corner store to pick up smokes, or to get to work.
I have a DARE shirt that says 'Drugs Are Really Expensive' underneath and i feel like thats a more effective deterrent than anything they said in the program.
Junkies also say "i need this for work". In fact i bet thats a major contributing factor in a lot of addictions - not having 2-7 days free where you can detox and be a sweaty emotional disgusting mess.
