ALL of them? Not just the "DEI" ones?
Jesus I spend 2 days away from the news it's like waking up from a 40 years coma what is happening.
Why don't they just do what normal countries do: stop paying people for years at a time. Plenty have done it and somehow everyone just keeps going to work for ages and services only slowly peel off as people wander away. Rather than being such a drama queen about it.
no I'm pretty sure that guy was in prison during january 6 and he's been dead for a few weeks.
cops also recently killed the commet pizza shooter
Yikes! IMHO people need to be able to sort out messy personal stuff in some sort of private venue. I've never been involved in a divorce proceeding but I know people bring in all sorts of emotional and intimate things. Should it really be subject to public scrutiny?? Just regular every day people with contentious relationships?
Under the old rules, parents who had spoken out about their cases could be found in contempt of court.
So how much of this is about MRAs?
No. Someone was trying to explain to me why Israel was the righteous. They used the hesitancy of neigbouring Arab States to take refugees to justify the violence. "They dont even take care of their own". I think it had a kind of human shield inflection.
Ya nobody ever said that about Genocide Joe. Total double standard.
Over the years I grow to despise the "minimalism" design trend. I want my computer to be like a newspaper, not a coffee table book. While not throwing accessibility out.
The main thing with "cluttered" interfaces is whether they are designed to work within limits of band with, processing power, screen size etc. If the clutter is being sourced from 25 different JavaScripts chit chatting with various servers about what they're going to do, and everywhere you mouse moved it requests 5 new webpages to show up on top of the content, then that sucks. But if the available info is squished together on one or 2 displays that is useful.
One thing I don't need is a bunch of "whitespace" forced on me. If my eyes need a rest I can look at the wall.
Putting a magnet up to your CRT and clippy is getting dragged towards the burning area.
I was watching Star Trek Picard and wondering if the entire show is just marketing for AI?
Of course its picking up on themes Trek has been playing with since the 90s.
The whole thing really made me creeped out. I can't articulate well, sorry.
super glue was originally developed as a surgical adhesive
I have personally used superglue to close wounds on my fingertips so I can at least be functional. I wouldn't advise anyone else to do it.
First need to get everything extremely clean so as not to seal in any dirt. Then it needs to stop bleeding and dry it in a way that does not introduce any new dirt or other crap. Then can apply superglue in a layer, let the burning pass. I use a new little tube of it each time.
It's annoying because it starts to peel at the edges and catch on things, so still need to be cautious. I think it slows down overall healing. I try to remove it during a shower and spend some time with a regular bandage over it to let it have normal healing time. If you can tolerate, clean dry cotton gauze (non stick if you can get it) kept on with minimum adhesive is better than a gunky sticky bandaid.
How long is your trip?
DS9 is the best, and is was written for binge watching before anyone was even doing that. It is about 130 hours long. If you are just looking for 5-6 hours of stuff you'd probably want to get episode recs.
It's hard for me to view it neutrally as would an outsider.
