The games never advance a meaningful socialist/Marxist/leftist position. But they are consistently hyper critical of US politics at home and abroad to an extent that is anti-imperialist, anticolonial, and anti-capitalist. The politics are all negative but still good. One game's final boss is the president.

Did you pay any attention at all to what was happening on screen at any point in the game

He's worse than your average 80 year old. Probably due to the insane pressure and and schedule of the job, so if your relatives have a healthy amount of stimulation and plenty of rest they will probably be better off than this.

does his campaign think this is cool

[-] jack@hexbear.net 21 points 6 days ago

I'm starting to think you don't got such a good grasp on the mechanisms of imperialism

Trump believes only in his personal glory and will change tack on a dime to secure it

they can put up literally anyone they want for the presidency and no one can do anything about it

But they’d need the president’s cooperation.

Uh oh!

I've got a few pairs of wool socks from pre-veganism, but they're all wearing down and approaching their end of life. I need warm, durable socks that can approach wool's comfort and utility. What do you suggest?

edit: here's an article about why vegans should avoid wool

Being vegan in 2023 is extremely easy, but to me that seems like a relatively new phenomena.

So if I put you in my vicious time machine and sent you until the dim past, how far back would you be vegan?

I think I could make it work for most of the 1900s. But if I was in 1500 I'd give it up.
