I grew up in rural SE USA and now live in metro SE USA. I have seen gas fireplaces, but they are more of a luxury item and not used for heating. The people who do have them have a gas storage tank on their property, usually.

I find these articles so odd. I have never once in my life seen a gas appliance outside of a campground.

Welp, I started to do the life on planets with no atmosphere separately, then I realized I could make it compact enough to all fit together.
Also, libre office has randomly crashed for me on multiple distros now, while doing really mundane things like... resizing a window or trying to save the document as PDF.

If you're looking for different advice... Marry him. Straight people have been entering marriages of convenience for centuries. Financial stability, someone to keep you warm at night, someone to talk to - you can have it all. Physical attraction is overrated - at least you don't find him repulsive.
