There have been 3 observed interstellar objects that passed through our solar system: Oumuamua, Borisov and ATLAS.

Developers deserve some blame, but Nvidia does a lot of work to get them to use their proprietary stuff that inly runs "well" on their most recent, high-end GPUs.

Western governments wouldn't risk a draft because of how unpopular it would be. Don't get me wrong, they have realized it's necessary for any wars, but the work to make it acceptable in the public is still ongoing.

What build did you go for? How was Gwyn? What did you understand of the story?

It does say the other person was his direct subordinate, so at the very least there would be conflicts of interest, if not some level of sexual harassment.

And training them requires a LOT of VRAM, and this is why they do as much as they can to limit VRAM on their gaming cards: better market segmentation.

Not sure what you mean, the bottom character is an obvious independent free thinker /s

Thw funny thing is her style of aim is explicitly trained to look aimboty. If ahe played optimally she'd probably be even better.

The devs are getting so lazy, this is obviously an error in planet generation that should be fixed

Good thing they didn't teach me how to think in school, who needs that with AIs anyway? /s

They just have some lame filter that stops it from even mentioning China in a political context.

Is the wheel FOSS? No? Guess I have to then.

Yes, it will happen, inevitably. Just like every other technology that makes people more productive. Just look at a picture of what a bank sas like 100 years ago.

But the biggest problem that nobody seems to be talking about is that this will make a few companies control an essential tool for a lot of future jobs. It won't matter if AI can't fully replace your job, all it takes is that you can't work without it. It doesn't even have to be because you can't do your job without it, it just has to speed you up enough so that you have to use it to keep up with everyone else.

It has the potential to become something akin to a factory, and at that point it won't matter if you can make a great drawing or piece of software if the supervised slop machine can do thousands of good enough art/software at the same time. And just like a factory, it becomes a means of opression. But maybe that's a bit too far for your average centrist.

Anyway, I just find the discourse could be a lot richer beyond this and "I want machines to clean my place, not make the drawings I like doing"

I mean more on the side of us. I don't really care about capitalist tears.

I watched on a recommendation and, well, I can understand the appeal if you are a trans woman or at least curious, but overall at least half of it is a slice of life about girls just doing random stuff. It's not even particularly about being trans since the MC doesn't seem to think much about being transed other than the mechanics and day to day of being the opposite gender.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it?

The cool VTOL aircraft.

Regardless of what happens in the auction, it will still take until the 19th for it to close. I understand changing the DNS will screw up a lot of federation features, but at this point it seems inevitable right?

Like, where does this come from? Even people that aren't particularly conservative seem to think that less people = good. Maybe the problem isn't the amount of people but how their needs are met? Yes, the world is finite, but pretending that hunger, homelessness, wars and diseases are in anyway caused by the amount of people on Earth rather than how we deal with those things is as insane as denying climate change.

And we are not stopping at Berlin comrades.

Same people: "Amogus"

Specially if it doesn't use imperialist language to contextualize my communist actions :)

I did take a look into the Cold War mod for HoI IV but the reactionary language in every focus and events for the DPRK is tiring after a while.

I don't care how much "real" power they have. If you actually believe in a meritocracy how can you defend someone getting a job because of their lineage, attending real political events and ceremonies and influencing policies that way? And let's not forget that in many cases, they ACTUALLY have institutional powers they just don't use because they don't have to, the institutions serve their interests all the same.

Sorry for the pointless rant. It just happens way too often.
