You usually block people for good audience sight-lines and sensible character interactions. It can also communicate relationships non-verbally.

And you want to avoid awkward shuffling as they enter and exit the stage.

Blocking is important in film as well, but less so due to close ups, shot reverse-shoot, and editing.

In BC, Canada bars and servers can be held liable up to millions of dollars for DUIs and drink driving accidents when they over-server someone.

The mandatory government licensing course for all who server alcohol, Serving It Right, makes it clear and even cites an example where a server sent someone home in cab. The person them left their home in their car, and the server was fined.

I use Google tap to pay on my phone, my front door has a code, and I walo to work so I don't need a car key.

All I take with me is my phone and my work ID badge.

I would lay in front of the Discovery Channel for hours while playing with Lego. Wouldn't you know it, I grew up to be an engineer!

I come from England but now I live in Western Canada. The oldest building is apparently a little wooden schoolhouse from the mid-1840s.

The likely oldest standing building in Canada is from 1637, a Jesuit mission house.

The mattress is literally called "The Family". As for how honest that is, idk how nepotistic they are.

Though that could go for big companies too. "When we said 'We're a family here', we meant upper management, not you."

I am a clerk in a bakery.

I mostly put bread in bags, and those bags on shelves.
