its a feature called Progressive Web App (PWA). It basically lets you add a shortcut to the site on your desktop or mobile device and it sort of acts like a native app.
i kinda want to, but haven't had the motivation cause i know i'm gonna have to research which one to get, plus install the mods and debug them lol

Balatro looks like a great game, just not for me, so didn't play it. I immediately repelled off of indiana jones, wasn't for me either.
