We'll, if the peron had access to and chose, for their future postmortem body, to undergo the disposition option of 'natural organic reduction' (also known as terramation, also known as body composting), then Ive read and heard that: any implants that contain batteries or are highly radioactive (both likely or certain to also contain metal) will be removed early on, by a professional, for safety reasons.

Other metal(, like a metal hip, or bolts,), are typically left in the body, and stay jt thought the internment ceremony, (incidentally a future customer certainly can request that a particular song or playlist be played during their internment, , and several reportedly have opted for specifically metal (genre) music to be played at this point. 🎢),

and (continuing) any metal parts then go into the pod along with the wood chips and the straw and and oxygen and everything else, they stay with the rest of the bidy the 'beehive' through the first four weeks or thereabouts, and through the peak periods of intense heat.

Then, towards the latter stages, they are eventually screened removed, using a screen. similar to that used in many other conventional composting methods. Any metal prices are returned to friends or family of they wish to keep them, or otherwise they are recycled. ♻️

The final results of the process are tested by an independent lab, for a variety of factors. One of these is heavy metal content. The results must come back, as a legislative requirement, at a heavy metal cintkentbtahtad below a specified level, before the process can finish, and the terramated remains can be returned. So far there seems to have been no issue with being below the limit.

Anyway, that seems to be the process, for those that die with metal, and who choose to have their body sent to this particular funeral services provider. (recompose). For more on that you can red more at www.recompose.life , they have a faq section.

I belive it's a similar process for other providers of n. o. r services, and(in some ways) for some alkaline hydrolisys and cremation servjices.

maybe that helps answers the question, at least in some part.

*... I think that’s the coolest (imo) way to go and would like to somehow become a tree… "

trees. are. cool.( literally a and metaphorically.). Having your posymoryem body, turned into a tree, is a relly cool option, in my opinion. Good thing is that a it's pretty widely avalable and doable too, in many places. πŸ’€πŸŒ± 🌳 🌳🌲🌳🌲🌲🌱

Heres some resources that might be helpful with planning for that tree, aka green or natural, burial, ahead of time (and ensuring that thise wishes are carried out later) , if you haven't allready: https://www.orderofthegooddeath.com/resources/green-burial/ and https://www.greenburialcouncil.org/interactive-maps.html

and to metiΓ³n green burials in another jurisdiction, , http://www.naturaldeath.org.uk/index.php?page=find-a-natural-burial-site

Hopefully some of that may be helpful, or intresting. green. burials. subject.

just over the border, more or less (geography isn't neccecarily my subject) , in Washing. State, you know the one, yiu can get ylarrange for your future corpse to undergo a relatively new and novel disposition option known as 'natural organoc reduction', for the comparatively low low price of only.. around 6 to 10 k, alst o checked., includong shrouds, body storage, tests ect.

That's significantly cheaper than the avarage conventional funeral cknsts, not Jay on van iver, but in the bordering region too., and there's no ongoing upkeep costsas, there might be with a plot. after aroind six weeks, its basically done, if you wnat it that way.

And, perhaos as or more importantly the novelty can be an important aspect for some people. A burial method that very ffew others, so far, ahve hmade use of (although very much tested, and regulated, and found genuine) , as can the positiveenvironmental aspects be appealing too to aome.

aTdlr: nyway see www.recompose.life for more details of, one of, the options that could help to circumvent any need to pay any, highly overinflated and likely extortionate, rates for a funeral plot. No buing real death estate required.

of that's an idea youre keen on, you could put it into a... loving will, or equivalent, and your will, anyway dwaath and end of life related documents. also appoint an exuctioner for those that you trust to make those bone post death art poecehappen, or anyway to try their best to make those wishes for coming part of a future grand skellie pyramid arform, or something along those lines, happen.

yiu never know, it may well be possible to make those dreams sooner, after a nk doubt long on the Future and death, than anticipated., and making some arrangements ahead of time can improve your chances, and possibly be a fun exercise in itself. 'tge order of the good death', has some useful resource on the whole planning and documents thing, espially on a North America context.

anyway. happy for you future artistic and collective bone combination ambitions for ' your future postmortem bones. rip. β˜ οΈπŸ’€πŸ¦΄πŸ¦΄πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ¦΄πŸ¦΄πŸ’€β˜ οΈπŸ‘»πŸ‘»πŸ‘»πŸ‘»πŸ‘»πŸ‘»πŸ¦΄πŸ‘»

green/natural burials are cool.

Heres some resources, links anyway, that might be helpful with planning, if you wnat to and havent allready, for a green burial,( ahead of time, and ensuring that thise wishes are carried out later) , : πŸ’€πŸŒ³ 🌳🌲🌳🌲🌲🌱 https://www.orderofthegooddeath.com/resources/green-burial/ https://www.greenburialcouncil.org/interactive-maps.html

and, for another jurisdiction, :http://www.naturaldeath.org.uk/index.php?page=find-a-natural-burial-site

πŸ’€πŸŒ³ 🌳🌲🌳🌲🌲🌱 also worth mentioning,: if the intention is to go back to to the Erth as soon as possible, then the! not yet as widy avalable, but becoming more avalable repidly) 'natural organic reduction' could be a way to do that, similarly to that green burial, but often more quickly. they can make the whole decomposition happen o a highly controlled environment, conditions monitored and adjusted of needed for ideal decomposition conditions...

if that sound interesting see https://recompose.life/, for the company that started the practice, and offers the service.

And green funerals, a more widely avalable, and also very cool, option.

yeah. like that peron who had, it would seem, -( for medical reasons, a and by a mediacl professional) a part of their.. I think foot, amputated. They decided to keep the remains, and then.. well, there's a thought process, aintrestomg discussions, and a banquet, in the story. There's a vice news interview about it, from some years ago, if I recall.

edit: this seems to be it https://www.vice.com/en/article/gykmn7/legal-ethical-cannibalism-human-meat-tacos-reddit-wtf might need to scroll doa bit to get to the story.

I like this idea. I might also reccomend, among other, perhaps similar, ideas to get a similar effect, and make use in this way of they ground floor house :.

  • putting out a 'free' table/stand. like, a table, with a sign, and stufd on to, fthats free, die passerby. Some have been quite sucessfull.

-'tiny free library.'. especially if there isn't one nearby allready. there's quite a lot of fun designs for these our there, to fit whatever style ore space. and, you could add halloween themed book to it, or any books pretty much. local bord banned a book you liked? add a copy to your local tiny library. ads 2,.. and some complementary skeleton themed bookmarks.

--a bench. nice place to rest. maybe addaa tree or aomwthing for ao. e shade of in a especially warm region. benches are fun, or can be. and yiu can paint it in oranges and bakam strops, with bays, and pkinh.

... -ooh, and you coild be like that one, well probably more than one, house that keeps up some halloween decor for longer. a way to signal to potential trick or teeter and show personality oerhaps?

-+-idk, hallowwn is fun., for many ppl. happy nextaand future Halloweens. Halloween πŸ¦‡ πŸŽƒ πŸ¦‡ πŸŽƒ

I don't think I've seen it mentioned in this thread so far, so I may suggest: Some nature documentaries, particularly more recent ones, can be pretty scary, and beutufulaa and intresting too, but also scary (and not particularly gory, that's nit generally the focus) . Dread/state-of-tge-climate sort of scary, among others, and no less scary for that I think. Nature documentary movies.

Some hosted by Netflix, are free on their yt cahnnel, i think.
