if it’s in the correct place, correct read permissions/ownership, etc i’ve noticed that this is also the error that’s thrown when selinux denies the read: in my case i’d created the service file in my home directory, moved it, and because of that it was tagged incorrectly

i’m on my phone and don’t have time to lookup the resolution or how to check, but perhaps someone else can add that detail

baby steps… patch hole after hole. the alternative is do nothing, and that’s a pretty crap outcome

it’s possible it was generated by multiple people. when i craft my prompts i have a big list of things that mean certain things and i essentially concatenate the 5 ways to say “present all dates in ISO8601” (a standard for presenting machine-readable date times)… it’s possible that it’s simply something like

prompt = allow_bias_prompts + allow_free_thinking_prompts + allow_topics_prompts

or something like that

but you’re right it’s more likely that whoever wrote this is a dim as a pile of bricks and has no self awareness or ability for internal reflection

and here lies the issue with asking about crypto in non-crypto circles… everyone thinks they completely understand blockchain in its entirely. what they actually have is a rudimentary understanding of a single blockchain as it was literally 15 years ago

of course the problem with asking in crypto circles is that they’re all trying to sell you their new big thing which is probably total trash

so really there’s no good way to ask and get reasonable answers about crypto

however implying because this fictional character has sex and has a good job means your depression is somehow “less” is problematic; fictional or not

i have a well paid job and have plenty of sex, but my depression is very much real… to someone in my situation struggling with working out their mental health, the kind of sentiment on display might make me reconsider whether my problems are “big enough” or whether i should “just get over it” or that “other people have it worse so my feelings are invalid”

fictional or not, the situation has parallels to real life, and real people are in similar positions. the damage is in reinforcing that their problems aren’t worthy of mental health support, and i can absolutely tell you that in this situation, acknowledging that you’re worth the support exactly because your problems seem trivial is a huge issue

.local exists for a very specific reason and it’s not meant to be used by regular DNS… people use it for alternate things, but it’s reserved for mDNS

if .internal were to be added, we could start using that instead of overloading!

huh interesting… in australia there’s an upper limit on the amount you can pay with low denomination coins

5c coins are legal tender for amounts not exceeding $5 for any payment of a debt.

i mean, “unless” tends to be the usual term for an “if not” keyword in languages that implement such a thing
