Yeah tbh I’d support this. Having the chapo name still around is sort of nice for those of us who were on the subreddit, but I haven’t listened to the podcast in 4 years and so much of that “dirtbag left” moment has sort of imploded. The chapo guys are fine, but I’m thinking of the red scare girls becoming fascists, stupidpol becoming a reactionary cesspool, jimmy dore becoming a reactionary, Bernie sanders dead (in spirit), cumtown refusing to move on from edgelord humor, sevendeadlyfetishes banned from the site. Maybe some of that stuff was never good, but it was a moment, and an important one, both politically since it put to rest that distinctly apolitical period that preceded it, and I’d guess personally for a lot of people on this site. But moments end and that moment has surely ended. We sort of tried to move away from it by changing the name to hexbear, but yeah I think it’s time we complete that process and make our identity wholly our own.
The whole coronation of Harris has really annoyed me, but ngl I’d love to see Elon eat shit.
Nah it’s definitely chuds. Harris supporters will just do Hillary part two and it’ll mostly just be fucking annoying and insufferable, and in a lot of cases sad since many of them are okay people who just aren’t politically developed/can’t see past the Democratic Party.
The chuds will have hilarious meltdowns about it though. The crazy Trump supporters have not gone anywhere. They’ve pinned so many of their hopes on him, it’ll be funny to watch some of the worst people on earth throw fits when he loses a second time to a horrible dem candidate, and a black woman no less. And there’s a whole new cast of Trump sycophants this time around, eg Elon, that it’ll be funny to watch react to a Trump loss. Unfortunately in some cases it may become violent, but far from the “civil war” they all say will happen if Trump loses.
