Just for funzies, my Spotify family plan in Canada is $17.84 CAD, which works out to $13.05 USD at current exchange rate.

Usually Canadians are screwed harder on, well pretty much everything, so I'm surprised that Americans are paying more for this. Guess it's "what the market will bear" or similar nonsense. Please discuss.

Another normal person checking in. Sadly I don't comment much for all the reasons you mentioned. It is some comfort to know there are a few of us around.

I can't stop laughing from thinking about someone stuffing marshmallows up their ass.

It doesn't matter what color your skin is, what your name is, or what your religion is. Air Canada will still treat you like shit.

What are you talking about? The grocery executives told us the were not profiteering and that they have very slim margins. They are obviously making record profits from high volume. Never mind that most people are buying less foodbecause they can't afford it /s

There is another way I find 3D printing and woodworking are similar:

3D printing: buy a $500 printer an $30 worth of filament, make a $20 feather board

Woodworking spend thousands on equipment and hundreds on wood to save buying a $200 coffee table

I still love both things though....

Alas, many of us did not vote for this Q-Anon Muppet, and are stuck on the ride.

Please send help

The beaver is Canada which passed a law required the big Tech companies pay Canadian news companies for content they post on their platforms and receive ad revenue from. Facebook and Google are acting all butt hurt and refusing to post news content in Canada instead of paying for it.
