New iOS update is resurfacing deleted files that users thought were gone.

In some cases, nude photos, even after the user WIPED it and SOLD the device.

I just said this the other day. Bloody finally! I'm actually a massive fan of Teslas. They're pretty cars and technologically, they're at the top of the pack, but they shouldn't be allowed to advertise SAE level 2 as Full Self Driving.

The notion that Biden represents a lesser evil compared to the chaotic reign of Trump is a common argument. However, we must not forget that there exists a moral threshold below which neither choice is acceptable. To suggest that enabling a literal genocide can be considered a lesser evil is a morally bankrupt stance.

The notion that voting for Biden is a moral obligation to prevent the return of Trump perpetuates a dangerous fallacy. It implies that the democratic party is immune from scrutiny and accountability, no matter the atrocities they commit. This line of thinking allows for a never-ending cycle of justification, as long as there's somebody considered worse, the democrats are granted a blank check. This is nothing more than a form of gaslighting, manipulating the public into believing that their only choice is between two evils, rather than demanding a better standard of leadership and true representation.

The Tasmanian tiger, also known as Thylacine, is an animal I looked for on Extinct or Alive. It is one of the most well-known extinct animals, and this man named Zack may have caught it on camera. Could this be proof thylacine is still alive?

Forrest Galante is a world-renowned wildlife biologist and TV Host. His mission is to inspire and educate people about animals and adventure through the media, including hosting programs on Discovery Channel, on-camera expert interviews, and production of his own wildlife and natural history shows.

Some really compelling footage from April 2024. The photographer doesn't want to be identified so there's a chance it's a hoax, but the host has run it by a few photography/wildlife experts who seemed optimistic. The photos begin at 25 minutes in and don't strike me as AI generated.

Neighbor across the street has a litter to re-home so we're doing our part!

No name yet, TBH, not even 100% sure on gender, they have a female looking face, but that doesn't mean much at 2 months. LOL.

Francis Ford Coppola’s 140-minute, self-financed magnum opus received a mixed reaction at its Cannes Film Festival premiere on Thursday (16 May).

The Godfather director’s new dystopian drama, Megalopolis, stars Adam Driver as Cesar Catilina, an architect-scientist who wants to better a fictional version of New York City called New Rome.

Journalists present at the screening reported booing from the audience after the film ended. However, the boos quickly turned to cheers when an “In Memoriam” segment proceeded to play for Coppola’s late wife Eleanor, World of Reel’s Jordan Ruimy reported.

The director and cast then received a seven-minute standing ovation.

“Thank you all so much. It is so impossible to find words to tell you how I feel,” Coppola said after the credits rolled, introducing his family members to the audience.

...

Megalopolis has divided critics, debuting on the review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes with a score of 53 per cent at the time of writing.

New York Magazine’s Bilge Ebiri wrote that, at times, the film “feels like the fevered thoughts of a precocious child, driven and dazzled and maybe a little lost in all the possibilities of the world before him”.

At one moment during the film, an actor reportedly appeared on the Cannes stage, playing a journalist, speaking to Cesar on the screen as if he were at a press conference.
