They're fans. It's short for "fanatic," isn't it?
Fandoms can be toxic and horrible, especially at their fringes. I wouldn't say they weren't "true" fans as much as they were toxic chud fans, which tend to roll around some franchises in particular like pigs in shit.
For example, it's hard for me to enjoy 40k much of the time if I'm out in the general fandom public and have to hear blue curtained enthusiasm for space fascism and its associated death cults.
Dire hards ruin everything. From tv to religion.
disagree, being a die hard for an ideology, religion, or even fandom doesn't mean you end up being a murderous sociopath. thats just what happens when people don't balance it out with actual like, sympathy, and morality, or just social interaction with people outside of their bubble
I think it's more murderous sociopaths tend to be die hards and ruin it for everyone.
Dire hard?? O_o
(I know this meant die hard, I just thought it was a fun typo)
i only know 2 languages english and bad english. Lol
I know only English. Japanese fell by the wayside once I started at Australian schools, I think my Russian is actually better than my Japanese now
