but ime that is usually the case, many doctors are outright incompetent.
Can confirm. I'm a med student here in Denmark and my fellow students know nothing about trans people. I know some straight up transphobes studying medicine too, but mostly I've just heard ignorant/misinformed takes, although luckily it's not something that's talked about often.
