I read this article about the 2017 crash, it is ridiculous how bad the touchscreen system is. Terrible UI, they had to turn it off and back on again when there were problems, and they had to turn off anti-collision tracking of nearby ships because it overwhelmed the system. On top of that, they had minimal training and didn't even understand how to transfer steering from one station to another.

The incompetence and terrible touchscreens is like what you would expect at a retail job, and they're running the navy like this. The plus side for the rest of the world is that the US navy could get their asses beat in combat when it comes down to it.

How dare that commander use knowledge of the military's tactics to devise a plan that directly counteracts it! Didn't he get the memo that opfor are big dumb dumbs who can't figure out which way to point a rocket?

Man I really wish we could see the US get washed by a categorically weaker opponent.
