Russian President Vladimir Putin has seemingly invited conservatives chafing under "neoliberal ideals" in their home countries to move to Russia, where he claimed "traditional values reign supreme," and Alex Jones suggested he might take him up on the offer.

The Russian president signed a decree offering assistance to foreigners seeking temporary residence in his country and expanding the quota approved by the nation's government and setting aside a requirement for knowing the Russian language, history and basic laws, and Jones urged his followers to consider sanctuary there.

Growing up (I was a kid during Reagan's Presidency), I heard more than one conservative pundit saying "better dead than Red!" I guess Russia is technically not the USSR; but, it strikes me as funny to see conservative pundits now seemingly open to becoming Russian.

Yeah, I grew up in the same era. A lot of Kill a Commie for Mommy shit left over from the '60s too. Remember Red Dawn?

Reagans non-policy on aids is a major reason I'm where I am politically now. I watched a few neighbors and family friends suffer and die in silence because of him. The worship that guy got from the gop was always a mystery to me but even just a few years ago I've been told he was the Greatest Ever President. But these same people are all over putins dick. It makes no sense.

Yeah I was raised anti Reagan because he took my grandma’s widow money while she was raising two kids on a hairdresser’s pay. Then I grew up a bit and saw the devastation aids did to my community as a result of his refusal to respond as well as his attacks on our country’s inner cities. Then I grew up further and saw how he hollowed out my country’s economy for short term profits and even the things people praised him for were bad.
