Is that an average? I'm really curious about your sourcing on that because that's a hell of a mic drop to have in my pocket later.
I saw a comrade say it once and I've been repeating it ever since because I know that even if you checked the numbers they'd be fucking BAD. I know for a fact that it's true for the last few decades because the deaths in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and so on are all attributable to the US. Going further back we've got the Korean War. Vietnam. We could also throw in Yemen? Syria. Iran?
It depends on what you want to attribute to them. But even being conservative the numbers aren't gonna be good are they?
Someone could do the numbers if they want, I've never felt the need to, that number is horrific and definitely feels right.
Um, actually... the US military only averages 1.9 million deaths
Yeah exactly why I've never really cared to check the exact figure. I know damn well it's still awful even if they check it.
