had a gin and tonic with ice from an iceberg calved off a glacier once but I figured the alcohol would kill anything in it

Alcohol content would be too low

Most things that can survive for a long time in glacier ice are going to have a hard time surviving in the 95 degrees F vat of acid known as your stomach
