Donald Trump has blamed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for last month’s failed assassination attempt against him by accusing them of making it difficult for the Secret Service to protect him.

The Republican presidential nominee’s claim – for which he offered no evidence – was made on the television talkshow Dr Phil, hosted by Phil McGraw, on Tuesday. The remarks follow disclosures that several Secret Service agents from the Pittsburgh field office had been placed on administrative leave after the 13 July shooting.

At a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last month, Trump was grazed on the ear by a bullet after a 20-year-old gunman opened fire from the roof of a nearby building. One rallygoer, Corey Comperatore, was killed and two others were seriously wounded. The gunman was shot dead by a Secret Service officer at the scene.

“When this happened, people would ask, whose fault is it?” Trump told McGraw. “I think to a certain extent it’s Biden’s fault and Harris’s fault. And I’m the opponent. They were weaponising government against me, they brought in the whole DoJ to try and get me, they weren’t too interested in my health and safety.

The ear healed miraculously. I doubt he even cut it. Most likely a blood packet in his hand. When he put his hand up to his ear, he popped it.

Ear wounds bleed spectacularly. They are also quite easy to fix cleanly, with appropriate care. A small wound would create plenty of blood, but be effectively invisible after a bit of work from a plastic surgeon.

Let's face it, which is more likely? A shooter just missed, or Trump had the coordination to play act, without it looking like a 5 year old's "my first magic act", and then not brag about it?

He did brag about it. He literally put himself in harms way again within seconds with absurd fist pumping and yelling "Fight! Fight! Fight!" He wore a giant fucking diaper on his ear throughout the whole RNC.

Sorry this bitch is close friends with Vince McMahon and the farther we get away from the event the more weird shit that comes out about it, the more reason I have to be fucking skeptical of a guy whose entire fucking life is kayfabe.

I had a tiny fucking zit on my ear and it took a fucking month to heal properly.

this actually isn't true, the shooter was confirmed down by this point, and presumably he knew about it. Also within seconds is complete bullshit, it's more like a minute, this stems from edited videos that republicans pretend aren't edited.

But let's be real, trump would've done this regardless of the danger for the photo OP, dudes a fucking narc.

More like a piece of glass or some flying debris. Any kind of wound from a bullet traveling 2,900 FPS would exhibit some sort of hydro-static shock damage.

“There was ketchup dripping down his ear…”

Tbh I'm not sure he has the dexterity to do even that.

the ear is incredibly fragile tissue, and can bleed quite profusely, i'm guessing he was just barely grazed.

I've also seen theories that he's probably on blood thinners due to age, which would also make sense.

I saw the tiny razorblade in his tiny hand
