I like a ton of spice the hotter black variety isn't hot enough
it's kinda embarrassing to have to blow my nose multiple times whenever I eat something spicy but it beats staying congested

I think the black is SUPER spicy, but maybe not.
Iโm sure Iโve seen one that said something like mild, but even that might be spicier than Maruchan and the like.
I googled it and the regular "black" flavor is supposed to be less spicy, but there's also a "SUPER SPICY" flavor which also comes in a black package but says "red" on it so that's probably what you're thinking of:

I did and it kind of ruins the pleasure you are supposed to get from spicy foods
