By this logic, god sacrificed thousands of children in palestine, millions of lives during COVID, and made Hillary lose in 2016 just so DJT could lose to a black woman! It was all a giant 4D chess move where humanity was forced to lose just so we could have an opportunity to own "cheeto hitler"!

Part of it is exhaustion. After years and countless arguments based on evidence that they ignore it just wears you down and all you can say is "shut up" because you've tried polite reasoning to the limit of your endurance and they're still so fucking smug. Demonstrably wrong and smug.
